Sept. 4, noon: The Webster County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) will meet at the Webster County 911 office building.
Sept. 5-6: The Holly River Festival will be held at Holly River State Park with live music, craft and food vendors, a quilt show, photo contest and other activities. Saturday events include apple butter making, a craft auction and antique car show. Sunday will feature the Holly River Hustle 5K at 9 a.m. and live bluegrass music.
Sept. 30, noon: The Webster County Association of Retired School Employees will meet at Baker’s Island’s main pavilion in Webster Springs for a hot dog picnic lunch. Superintendent Joseph Arbogast will provide a school update. All retired school employees and family members are welcome.
